Southlake Texas - Home of the Dragons and Southlake Town Square

There are so many great things to say about Southlake. It's one of our favorite places! 

Just today one of my teens said, "I always feel happy when I'm shopping at Southlake Town Square. Everyone is just so friendly!" It's no wonder that it's hard to find a parking place on the street sometimes. But don't worry, they have two parking garages with plenty of space. There is so much to do in Southlake Town Square with their many restaurants including Cheesecake Factory and Brio Tuscan Grill (my favorite!) You can take in a movie at Harkins Theater, then head over for some refreshements at Barnes and Noble. Starbucks is also filled with friendly employees and customers. Southlake Town Square is a great place for people watching, but also checking out the expensive cars.

If you're planning to purchase a home in Southlake, you can expect to pay anywhere from $400,0000 to over $10 Million. The average price is over $600,000. 

One of the biggest reasons that families move into Southlake is for the schools. The Carroll ISD is rated Exemplary, but it's the sports program that seems to really bring 'em here.

A feature you'll notice as you drive around Southlake is that every subdivision has its own little lake. It's a requirement by the city for them to have a water feature.
